Fudge Brownies

Delicious fudge brownies made from scratch. This recipe is so easy and a great way to surprise your sweethearts this Valentine's Day.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional... but not really😜)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a 9x9" baking dish and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over medium low heat. Once melted, remove from heat.
  • Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla until thick and glossy.
  • Stir in flour, nuts (if using) and chocolate chips (of course you're using 😉) JUST until combined.
  • Pour batter into greased baking dish and spread into an even layer.
  • Bake 24 min. Cool on a wire rack then dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
