Fudge Brownies

Delicious fudge brownies made from scratch. This recipe is so easy and a great way to surprise your sweethearts this Valentine's Day.

- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional... but not really😜)
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease a 9x9" baking dish and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over medium low heat. Once melted, remove from heat.
Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla until thick and glossy.
Stir in flour, nuts (if using) and chocolate chips (of course you're using 😉) JUST until combined.
Pour batter into greased baking dish and spread into an even layer.
Bake 24 min. Cool on a wire rack then dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
